The Importance of Studying the Norms of Islamic Law and Dogmatic Theology in the Fight against Radicalism
Abstract
This article examines issues of modern Islamic law, reveals fatwas and dogmatic theology, the decision of which has an impact on the social life of the Muslim Ummah. This article is based on issues studied within the discipline “Issues of modern Islamic law”, studied at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan. An attempt has been made to reveal how important it is to study Islamic law and dogmatic theology for raising a healthy and mature generation. It also examines the various approaches and methods of ijtihad and issuing fatwas in the modern world. In this regard, the article covers only some aspects of the topic, the main sources of Islamic law and the activities of modern fiqh institutions, fatwas issued by them and refutations of radical ideas. In Uzbekistan, they are regulated by legal documents adopted by the competent authorities of the state. But since more than 90 percent of our country's population is Muslim, the influence of sharīʿah law in everyday relationships is great. Considering this, we believe that it is very necessary to study the rules of Islamic law and dogmatic theology in order to prevent young people from falling under the influence of radical ideas.
