Abstract

The media plays an important role in influencing the public and working to change trends, as well as influencing the mental and stereotypical image of the public. Therefore, the cinematic image contributes to the creation of new cultures because it is compatible with the societies that the image makes accessible by creating culture, because it has the ability to express, especially the expression of ideas and their impact on the audience.   

     In addition to his work on the philosophical side, Gilles Deleuze studied various arts, the most important of which were cinema and theatre, as well as poetry, painting, and other arts. In his cinematic research, he emphasized image and movement, and relied on quotes from philosophers, especially his two books, Creative Evolution and Matter and Memory. 

     Therefore, our research entitled “The Impact of the Mass Media...The Cinematic Image according to the Philosopher Gilles Deleuze” came, which divided the research into two sections, in addition to the conclusion and the most important conclusions reached by the researcher, as the first section dealt with the impact of the media on the cinematic image, while the second section dealt with: The movement image according to Gilles Deleuze and its reflections in the art of cinema.
