New Methods of Obtaining Bearing Material from Steel

Abstract

This entire prospect of creating a bearing material from steel culminates at the purpose of the study. At the current time, there is not a feasible technique for creating bearing materials from new steel alloys. The powder metallurgy process is too expensive and only suitable for small-scale production. By creating a material which is functional and cost-effective, large-scale production can be accomplished which would benefit many industries.
