Abstract

Cyber threat is one of the most important problems of global politics. In the era of information technologies, the combat area includes not only air, land, and sea components, but also cyberspace. The fact that cyberspace is not bounded by specific boundaries, adds to the scale of the challenges inherent in cyberspace.

This work discusses specific examples of large-scale cyber-attacks against Georgia, and how significant losses can be caused by these actions.

Cyber-attacks are a difficult-to-control threat, not only for Georgia but for the whole world. The fight against it requires unity, cooperation of the international community, and the establishment of effective defense mechanisms
