A crime committed under the provoked temporary insanity is one of the most complicated issues of criminal law, as it does not refer only to the sphere of law. A lot of sciences are involved in the process of studying the provoked temporary insanity crime, such as: law, psychology, psychiatry, social ethics, politics, etc. Hence, it requires interdisciplinary and dimensional understanding, i.e. consideration in the context of the Dimension Theory.

The work discusses the Criminal Law approaches to the provoked temporary insanity crimes used by the Georgian criminal law as well as the German and the Common law countries and interrelations among these approaches are analyzed using comparative methods.
