Abstract

The teaching-learning process has experienced significant alterations in recent years. The academic sector altered substantially in a few years, and as a result, the teaching-learning process was influenced to adapt to the novel possibilities and requirements offered by the digital age. In order for education to justify itself in this sphere, teaching methods and founders that keep pace with the times are needed. The role of methods, teachers and student-oriented learning in education can be approached from different perspectives.

Methods of instruction are the most dynamic aspects of the teaching-learning process because they are determined by the activities of both teachers and students. Some writers separate teaching and learning approaches, whereas in fact they are inextricably linked and form a dialectical unit. When using a teaching approach, it is important to consider the logical operations that prevail at each step of the learning process, as well as those that enhance students' independence and creativity. These approaches are quite diverse, as there are several categorization criteria.
