Traditional Education System in Turkestan in the 19th Century

Abstract

In this article, traditional education in Turkestan in the 19th century, similar and different situations in
schools opened for boys and girls, teaching methods, lesson processes, books used for education,
teachers, Some evidences and opinions are given about how the concept of "literate" is understood by the
Turkestans, and the consequences of these traditional educational processes that have brought Turkestan
to this point.
