Communication as a concept of scientific knowledge has a long history, and there are several interpretations of it. For example, the American psychologist Yu. Ruesch (Jurgen Ruesch) applied the concept of communication to anthropology, sociology, political science, psychology, linguistics, etc. noted that there are more than forty interpretations in the fields. Therefore, it is natural for specialists from different fields of human activity to collide with communication problems.
Today, “communication” has become one of the main concepts of social and humanitarian knowledge. In sociology, the object of communication is society and its components (mass communication), in psychology, interpersonal communication, in ethnography, communication between ethnic groups. The creator of a communication work in the field of art is a director, actor, poet, artist, composer, etc. with the viewer, reader, listener, in the field of education, between the teacher and the student.
