Analysis of Systematic Work to Prevent and Protect the Population and Territories from Mudflows and Floods
Abstract
Scientists explain the increase in the number and scale of natural emergencies around the world by factors such as population growth, increasing technogenic impact on nature, and climate change. These circumstances are reflected in the main documents of the agenda for the 21st century. Data on emergency situations clearly demonstrate that in order to reduce risks and minimize damage from natural disasters, their reliable and timely forecast is necessary, as well as the organization of preventive measures.
