Abstract

This study investigates the synthesis, characterization, and properties of transition metal complexes with azo-Schiff base ligands. Azo-Schiff bases, known for their ability to coordinate with transition metals, form stable complexes with distinct electronic, thermal, and spectroscopic properties. The synthesized complexes were thoroughly analyzed using various spectroscopic techniques, including UV-Vis, IR, NMR, and X-ray diffraction, to determine their structural characteristics and stability. The thermal stability and electrochemical behavior were also examined. The biological activities of these complexes, specifically their antimicrobial and anticancer properties, were evaluated, revealing promising potential for pharmaceutical applications. The study further emphasizes the significance of ligand structure in determining the properties of the metal complexes, providing valuable insights into their applications in medicine, materials science, and environmental technology. The findings suggest that these complexes hold significant promise for future development in various industrial and therapeutic fields.
