ideologyAbstract
One of the most pressing issues in the development of society in Uzbekistan is shaping and enriching the spiritual world of individuals, especially the younger generation, raising them based on the ideology of independence, and creating the necessary conditions for them to embrace the rich cultural and spiritual heritage, values, traditions, and customs of the Uzbek people. The progress of any society and its level at a given time and place largely depends on the spiritual development of its citizens, their lifestyle, the fulfillment of their spiritual, material, and social needs. The events that have taken place during the historically short period before and after independence, as well as the social, political, economic, spiritual, educational, and ideological transformations in society, allow us to objectively analyze and understand the realities of Uzbekistan’s life under the Soviet totalitarian regime and during the years of independence. As our President has emphasized, the issue of ensuring transparency and openness in society is directly linked to the level of development of methods and approaches used to study public opinion.
