Abstract

Heart failure or dysfunction of the circulatory system is a syndrome caused by diseases of the cardiovascular system, which leads to a decrease in heart pumping activity and activation of the neurohormonal system. The therapeutic properties of cardiac glycosides, which are biologically active substances obtained from various tissues, have been known since the time of the ancient Egyptians, YG is a drug that has an effective effect on chronic and acute heart failure. Cardiac glycosides are organic substances with a complex chemical structure obtained from plants, which selectively stimulate the activity of the heart and are used in the treatment of heart failure. This article provides information about cardiac glycosides, cardiovascular diseases and medicinal plants.
