Abstract

A quantitative assessment of the degree of ordering of the structure of the coating obtained by electrocontact sintering of carbide powder was carried out based on its fractal dimension. It has been established that the content of the binding phase affects the value of the fractal dimension and this dependence is of an extreme nature, the maximum of which corresponds to the most ordered structure.
