Abstract

This article examines the anatomy of poverty, delving into its root causes and exploring potential solutions to mitigate its impacts. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature and analysis of recurring themes, the study identifies structural inequality, economic factors, environmental degradation, and political instability as key drivers of poverty. Promising strategies for addressing these root causes include investing in education and skills training, promoting gender equality and social inclusion, fostering inclusive economic growth, and strengthening social protection systems. By adopting a holistic and coordinated approach, policymakers, civil society organizations, and the international community can make significant strides towards reducing poverty and building more inclusive and resilient societies.
