This article analyzes ways to improve the effectiveness of teaching history through an information-educational environment. The article discusses the role and importance of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the educational process, their contribution to improving students' knowledge. The article presents recommendations on the integration of the information-educational environment into the educational process and how it can be effectively used by teachers. Also, the article shows the methods of using various ICT tools, their advantages and disadvantages. The article provides theoretical and practical recommendations for history teachers.
