Abstract

Belt conveyor transport is a continuous type of transportation, widely used in mining enterprises in the performance of cargo transportation works. In the process of operation, there are changes in the indicators and conditions that were taken into account during the design of belt conveyors. These changes, in turn, change the performance of conveyor transportation as well as the drag forces on the conveyor movement. An increase in resistance leads to an increase in the power of the electric drive of the conveyor transport. The produced conveyor is manufactured on the basis of certain conditions and is recorded in the passport of conveyor transport with recommendations for operation. In this article the influence of changing the recommended indicators on the conveyor operation is investigated.
