Abstract

The article discusses gear milling of cylindrical gears with external engagement using the rolling method with worm cutters without the use of coolant and the conditions of experimental studies, as well as machining with a worm cutter made of powder high-speed steel. Optimum cutting conditions and the achievable accuracy of cylindrical gears are given.
