Abstract

 Berdak, a prominent Karakalpak poet, played a crucial role in preserving and reflecting the traditions, daily life, and struggles of the Karakalpak people. His poetry and literary works serve as a historical record, portraying the socio-economic conditions, moral values, and cultural identity of his time. Through his eloquent verses, Berdak captured the hardships, joys, and aspirations of his people. This paper explores how Berdak's works provide insights into the customs, lifestyle, and challenges faced by the Karakalpak people, emphasizing his contribution to national consciousness and cultural preservation. The significance of his literary legacy in shaping Karakalpak identity will also be examined.
