Abstract

The goal of every Japanese teacher is to provide their students with a simple way to learn the writing and meaning of Japanese characters in a way that makes them easier to remember. This goal is not only for beginners but also for the advanced student who forgets to write kanji and organizes what they already know. Because, based on the complexity of the basic elements of the Japanese writing system, it offers a new perspective on how learners and students learn kanji. In this process, the teacher sometimes approaches based on individual skills, sometimes based on the general situation. Which one to choose depends, firstly, on the weight of individuality or generality, and secondly on one's own pedagogical skills. When learning Japanese writing, how kanji forms compounds and different ways of pronouncing characters are important and are considered to be one of the main issues in the teaching process.
